Senior Facade Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Facade Engineer to lead the design and technical execution of complex building envelope projects. You will work closely with architects and clients to develop custom aluminum extrusion systems that meet rigorous thermal and structural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of facade systems including curtain walls, windows, and cladding.
• Perform structural and thermal calculations (U-value, wind load) in accordance with ASTM and EN standards.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop new thermal break profiles and bespoke polyamide barrier geometries.
• Oversee the preparation and approval of shop drawings, die designs, and fabrication details.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with production and on-site installation teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture.
• 6+ years of dedicated experience in facade engineering and building envelopes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, and thermal modeling software (THERM/WINDOW).
• Deep understanding of EN 1886, ASTM standards, and structural sealant glazing.
• Strong project management and client communication skills.
